In 2019, fate brought us together during an ordinary on-boarding session at work. Michaela was filling in for a coworker, hosting the session, when Tyler walked in. The moment our eyes met, it was as if time stood still—love at first sight. Tyler couldn’t take his eyes off Michaela. That night, Michaela gushed to her sister about the cutie at work, while Tyler joked with his friend about the hottie who might just get him fired. Despite Tyler’s frequent travels for work, he found every excuse to come into the office, hoping to see Michaela. With each work event, Tyler tried to strike up conversations, eager to get to know the woman who had already captured his heart. One day, we discovered something surprising—Michaela’s parents are neighbors with Tyler’s childhood best friend, who would eventually become one of our groomsmen. Though the chemistry between us was undeniable, timing wasn’t on our side, and we remained friends until fate intervened again. After starting a new job and finding herself single, Michaela reached out to Tyler. The rest, as they say, is history. Now, we’ve built a beautiful life together, working in New York and living in Jersey City with our dog, Penny. Our wedding venue Park Loft is located in Oceanport NJ within the historic army base of Fort Monmouth. Originally built as an officers' dance hall in 1942, it has been beautifully restored to blend vintage charm and modern elegance. Today, Park Loft stands as a beacon of romance, where every wedding is a continuation of the love stories that have been whispered here for generations.
