Believe it or not, we actually owe our love story to Hobby Lobby. No, we did not bump into each other in an aisle, or chat each other up in line. We actually met online, Tinder to be exact. So what does Hobby Lobby have to do with the story? It was January of 2021, Justin was living in West Babylon on Long Island, and I was living up in Rockland County. At the time, my sister was planning her wedding, and we decided to take a trip to Hobby Lobby to look for some decor and fun little wedding things. We had never been to one before, and at that time, the closest one was out on Long Island. So we made the trip to Massapequa, went shopping and had lunch. The following week Justin and I matched. We would've never normally came up on each others app because we lived too far, but that trip to Hobby Lobby brought us together. After a couple of days of non-stop texting, we set up a date to get dinner, but Justin was too eager to wait and ended up driving up so we could meet sooner. We met on a random Thursday afternoon and the rest was history. Here we are, four and a half years later, planning our future together ♡
