Directions - How to get to the Venue from Entrance of Mystic Dunes?

Answer

From the front guard shack (the main entrance off of North Old Lake Wilson Rd), you go straight 5 stop signs and make a left. Take the road down until you see "Golf Club Restaurant" / "Kenzie's Restaurant" and it's a left into the parking lot for Kenzie's. If you go to a gated community then you've gone too far. If you enter from the back guard shack (off of Formosa Gardens Blvd), its the first right after the shack, then down the road until you see "Golf Club Restaurant" / "Kenzie's Restaurant" and it's a left into the parking lot for Kenzie's. If you go to a gated community then you've gone too far.

When should I RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP no later than August 1, 2024.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, semi-formal attire is preferred. This means tuxes, gowns, suits and cocktail dresses are welcome. The theme colors are burgundy (the redish version not purple), light dusty pink, and gold, so please try to wear in this color scheme if you can for the best pictures! Try to avoid white or cream colored clothing. (The above picture is the color scheme). To note: Wearing these colors are not required but preferred to allow for the best pictures.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes, kids are welcome at the resort. However, due to having to number the amount of guests we can have, only some children (direct family members) will be allowed to the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Your RSVP link will tell you the guests in your party.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes. Mystic Dunes Resort offers discounted accommodations for our guests. Please view the hotel tab for more information.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 3:45pm as it allows you time to get settled. The ceremony starts at 4:00pm, cocktail hour and professional pictures starts at 4:30pm, and the reception is around 6:00pm.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we will do out best to accommodate any food allergies.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, parking is adjacent and within a few steps of the venue. The ceremony and reception are in the same location.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to having to number the amount of guests we can have, only some guests have the option to bring a plus one. The RSVP link will show you if you have a plus one or not.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

If staying at Mystic Dunes, they offer transportation via golf cart when on property. You must contact the hotel if staying to arrange this transportation. Outside of staying at Mystic Dunes, we will not provide transportation from hotel to ceremony as the ceremony and reception are being held in the same location.

Is it BYOB?

Answer

No, we will offer drinks during both cocktail hour and the reception. To note, the venue DOES NOT allow outside alcoholic beverages to be brought on property.

Will baby sitting services be provided?

Answer

We request all parents to find their own accommodations for baby sitting. Some hotels offer this service so please contact the hotel you are staying at to request what services they offer.

What should I get the bride and groom?

Answer

Our personal goal and current focus is to save for a down payment of a dream home. We have an Amazon wishlist but our main request is anything towards us getting a house as we currently have an apartment and our necessities.
