Our Untold Love Story

Our love story started in 2006 with what felt like a very serious life decision at the time — accepting a friend request on MySpace. Little did we know, God was already writing something much bigger than either of us could see. As we got to talking, we realized we both planned to attend Jacksonville State University, even though Jeremy had graduated a year before me. After months of conversations, we planned our first official meeting at my job at Walmart — because nothing says romance like fluorescent lights and a Subway nearby. While I finished high school, Jeremy would come home on weekends just to see me, proving early on that he was committed. Once I graduated in 2008, we finally attended the same college and continued growing together. Like any real love story, ours included a season apart in 2014–2015. But even then, Jeremy never gave up on us. Through every stage, God kept weaving our paths back together and teaching us patience, grace, and what it truly means to love someone faithfully. Jeremy actually tried to propose on Christmas Eve in 2019… but I didn’t believe him. (In my defense, I thought he was joking!) So clearly, God knew we needed a redo. In 2020 we bought a home together, continuing to build the life we prayed for. Then on October 4, 2025, Jeremy planned the sweetest surprise — a luxury picnic at Railroad Park, knowing how much I love picnics. Surrounded by a beautiful setup and a moment that felt just right, he asked me again — and this time I knew he meant it… and I said YES! From a MySpace message to a lifetime commitment, our story is proof that God’s timing is perfect, His plans are better than ours, and sometimes love just needs a persistent man, a praying woman, and a really beautiful picnic. We are so grateful for the journey that brought us here and even more excited to walk into marriage hand in hand, guided by faith, love, and a whole lot of laughter.
