FAQs

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Our wedding will be held at Camp Pollock, a historic lodge and outdoor space nestled along the American River in Sacramento. The venue is managed by the Sacramento Valley Conservancy and features a blend of natural landscapes and rustic charm, including grass, gravel, and cement paths. The ground includes grass, gravel, and some cement, so we recommend choosing footwear that’s stylish yet suited for the setting.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

We’re hosting a taco bar with five proteins and vegetarian options. We believe there will something for everyone to enjoy!

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There is a free parking lot at the venue. Space is limited so we recommend carpooling when possible!

Question

Why did it take 17 years to get married?!

Answer

Well, between mourning every Sacramento Kings season, hunting down rare Disney pins like they were Infinity Stones, and saying 'just one more episode' for 17 years straight... wedding planning kind of slipped through the cracks. But we’re here now!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We’re going unplugged for the ceremony—meaning no phones, cameras, or selfie sticks, friends! We love that you want to capture the moment, but trust us, your phone’s battery will thank you later. Our amazing photographer will be capturing all the magic, so feel free to stay present, snap some pics of the reception, and let’s avoid any awkward “I do” selfies. Thanks for being our personal paparazzi later—just not during the vows!
