Our Story
We met in 2019 at Prime and Provisions Steakhouse in Chicago's River North neighborhood. Fernando was working as a busser while studying full-time at UIC. I was working as a hostess during my summer break from UIUC. We were 20 and 22 at the time.
Daisy, my sister, had already been working at Prime for a couple years, so she helped me get the job. During my first couple of weeks, Daisy mentioned that there was a guy that she thought I'd like...and she was right!
I started asking his work friends about him, so that he'd get the idea I was interested in him. After getting to know each other a little more we went on our first date at the end of June, and began officially dating in August. We have been together for almost 6 years now <3
