We met at school in El Salvador - crossing paths through mutual friends, school events, after school events. For years, we were in each other's orbit without realizing it. Then, life did its thing: we grew up, moved countries, built careers... and eventually, reconnected in December 2021. What started as a reconnection turned into something much more. In 2023, we started a long-distance relationship, flying to see each other every month. It wasn't easy, but it became a testament to how much we meant to each other and helped us build something strong and intentional. Fer proposed in Apaneca, his favorite place in the world, surrounded by nature and the love of our families. It was beautiful, heartfelt, and exactly how we envisioned starting this next chapter.
