Are you planning to do another ceremony during the 2023 celebration?

Answer

No, this will be strictly a reception-style celebration. We went back and forth whether to do something local but found that our original ceremony was exactly what we wanted and replicating it would not have felt right. However, we are so excited to be able to celebrate our first year of marriage with people we love.

Will you be having a registry?

Answer

Yes. It is definitely not necessary--your presence is our gift, as they say--but we will have a registry link under the 'Registry' tab for those who wish to give us something. We will be adding and updating that registry around early fall (likely around August) so stay tuned!

But why elope in Vermont?

One of our most popular questions! Before the pandemic, Shawn and I used to take day trips to cities/states we've never been to, and those trips are among our favorite memories as a couple. We wanted to bring that energy to our wedding, settled on a place we have never been to and found Twin Farms in Vermont! It was honestly the best decision we've made and now we have an emotional connection to Vermont, as well as the people there, that we would not have had if we didn't take a chance!
