Bart's Books
Bart’s Books is a one-of-a-kind bookstore. Most of it is outside under the trees, and people call it the world’s largest outdoor bookstore. It is easy to lose track of time poking around the shelves, where you might find some unique little gems.
Ojai Olive Oil
Ojai Olive Oil is a nice spot for anyone who appreciates quality ingredients. The grounds are quiet and inviting, and the staff is happy to share their process as you taste through their olive oils and vinegars. Tastings include bread and cost $15 on weekdays and $20 on weekends. They also offer skincare and balms made with their olive oil.
Meditation Mount
If you want something peaceful and scenic, Meditation Mount is a beautiful spot. It sits on a hill with gardens to explore and a wide valley view that is especially nice at sunset. You book in advance and there is a per-person admission for the two-hour sunset visit, so check their site for details. It is a calm, contemplative place where you can meditate or simply enjoy the quiet view.
