Browse the fun shops, explore the museum, pan for gold, or visit the saloon. For more adventures you can take a jeep ride, do an underground mine tour, or take a horseback ride through the area. Named after the fabled lost gold mine, Lost Dutchman State Park is located in the Sonoran Desert, about 11 miles away from the wedding venue. Several trails lead from the park into the Superstition Wilderness and surrounding Tonto National Forest. Take a stroll along the Native Plant Trail or hike the Treasure Loop trail for amazing views. October can still be very warm for Arizona so remember to take plenty of water, wear sunscreen, and bring a hat!
