Apple Valley Golf Course
- As a par 72, 18-hole course it contains four par 5 holes, four par 3 holes, and ten par 4 holes. Large fairways and inviting greens make this course incredibly playable for the average golfer. - Designed by Dan Maples opened in 1986 and has been dubbed one of the most beautiful mountain courses around by Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” - The course measures 6,756 yards from the tips. - It has a slope rating of 140 and a 73.2 USGA rating. Bald Mountain Golf Course
- As a 72 par, 18-hole course it contains five par 5 holes, five par 3 holes, and eight par 4 holes. - Small greens and narrow tree-lined fairways. - All putts tend to break towards Bald Mountain. - The course has four sets of tees and measures 6,283 yards. - Course rating of 70.9 and a slope rating of 128. Mini Golf
Just steps away from the Wellness Center and open during regular hours, you’ll find endless opportunities for fun and activities! Test your skills on our 18-hole mini-golf course, shoot hoops on the full-sized basketball court, or take on friends with lawn games like giant chess, cornhole, and giant Jenga. Whether you’re seeking friendly competition or simply looking to unwind, there’s something here for everyone to enjoy! Cost for mini golf is $7 per person.
Legends on the Lake
This is casual dining at its best. Enjoy hand-made pizzas, fresh-ground burgers, and elevated versions of your favorite bar classics.
The Gardens
The Gardens offers a custom-made menu for an elevated casual dining experience the whole family will enjoy. Serving breakfast and lunch, we also feature monthly member-focused dining specials. Guests can savor their meals with an al fresco dining option overlooking the championship greens of our Bald Mountain Golf Course.
The Bear's Cup Café Bar
This cozy café bar proudly serves Starbucks® cappuccinos, lattes, and a wide selection of coffee drinks, including refreshing cold beverages and beer. Guests can also enjoy convenient “Grab-n-Go” food options, perfect for those on the move. Outdoor seating is available overlooking the Bald Mountain Golf Course, with a firepit nearby for added comfort and ambiance. Plus, free guest Wi-Fi makes it easy to catch up on the latest news or watch a round of golf.
Eagles Nest
We’ve got some very exciting new menu items at Eagles Nest – a variety of sandwiches/wraps from Maples on Main. Eagles Nest serves as the “19th Hole” at Apple Valley Golf Course for all golfers and guests featuring various snacks, beverages, local beer, and traditional course food items coupled with a full bar. Lured Market & Grill
Lured is the perfect place to come for a delicious, laid-back meal with family and friends. Join us for an order of our local trout bites, our spin on a Reuben, a side of our tasty roasted Brussels sprouts or enjoy something from our daily specials offerings. Lured is proud to support local farming in our community. We source as much local produce and products as we possibly can and we are thankful for the support of many local farmers. We also cater to our Gluten Free guests with GF buns, and Beyond Meat for vegetarians.
Burntshirt Vineyards
There are plenty of fun things to do during your time at Burntshirt Vineyards! First and foremost, we recommend you taste their fabulous award-winning selection of wines in the Tasting Room. Wine tastings are $15 per person ($30 for private tastings and groups of six or more; groups of six or more require a reservation with at least 24 hours notice).
Wellness Center
Relax and recharge at the Wellness Center during your stay. Stay active in the fitness center, or unwind with a rejuvenating facial or one of our many massage options, including Swedish, deep tissue, and aromatherapy. For those looking to get wedding-ready, professional hair and makeup appointments are available to ensure you look and feel your best on the big day.
Lake Activities
We call it the North Shore Beach Cabana, and it is where your Lake Lure adventures begin. Explore by kayak, stand-up paddleboard, pontoon boat, or one of our scenic lake cruises. Or take it easy and spend the day in the sun with friends or a good book with some hand-scooped ice cream. At the Cabana, the lake and the day are yours.

Canopy Ridge Farm
Experience the Blue Ridge foothills from a thrilling new perspective. Led by our team of friendly and knowledgeable guides, our zipline tours are perfect for both families and thrill seekers alike. Soar through the forest canopy, across gorges, hillsides, and water as you tour over 60 acres of stunning hardwood forest. Experience a fully immersive zipline experience in our forest.
