We understand that traveling to Cape Verde for our wedding is a significant commitment, and we’re incredibly grateful to those who are able to make the journey. Your presence in the beautiful country of Cape Verde, which holds a special place in both of our hearts, is the greatest gift we could ask for. With that in mind, we kindly ask that no other gifts be given. United States Attendees: Flights typically are from Boston or New York City to Lisbon and then Lisbon to the Island of Sal. Flight to Lisbon is typically 6 hours and flight to Cape Verde is 4 hours. We have flown TAP Air Portugal. In the past, we have planned a flight to have an extended layover in Lisbon to break up the flight. Downtown Lisbon is a 25 minute Uber ride from the airport Name of the airport in Sal, Cape Verde is Amilcar Cabral International Airport. The town of Santa Maria is a short drive from the airport. Santa Maria has a number of hotels in the area that we could recommend. We've included a few examples below, but the town is very touristy and a popular vacation destination.
