Yes, we ask that our ceremony and reception be adults only. We are okay with young adults 16 or older. With the exception of the children who are in our bridal party.
For those family and friends who are traveling from out of town, we suggest using Uber or Lyft to carpool. A car rental is also an option. Our partnered hotel offers valet, which is free to our guests who reserved a room under the Sinner-Rose wedding block. The River's Edge Hotel (our partnered hotel) is 10 miles from our venue which is approximately a 20 to 28 minute drive depending on traffic.
When submitting your RSVP online, your number of guests is already entered. if your name does not have a spouse or a "and guest" next to it, then we prefer it just be you who attends.
Formal, please. We are aware that it is a garden wedding and heels aren't always ideal in the grass, so please keep that in mind. Wedged heels or heel stoppers are a great fix. We want you all to be comfortable, so don't be afraid to kick those heels off once the dancing starts, flip-flops will be provided for those who want to shake it till they break it!
We are aware that the Pacific North West brings very unpredictable weather. We are hoping for more sun than rain, but that is something we just can't control. Please bring a light overcoat or an umbrella to keep in the car just in case. The reception area will be heated so heavy jackets wont be necessary .
Our ceremony starts promptly at 4:30PM. We ask that guests begin to arrive 30 to 45 minutes ahead of time, this gives everyone a chance to sign our guest book, find their seats while listening to some beautiful music.
We have chosen to start our marriage with experiences instead of gifts. Please keep your gift in monetary form so you can contribute to our honeymoon fund! You can make checks Payable to Cody Rose or submit online by going on our wedding website under the “Registry” tab. For those who would like to contribute a physical gift, we have a few items listed on the registry page you may choose from.
