Sometimes, love begins in the most unexpected ways. For Fernanda and Joshua, it started with something as simple as an Instagram scroll. One day, Fernanda came across a familiar face on her feed-Joshua Goan. Something about him stood out, and after a few weeks of exchanging messages, they decided to meet in person. The Christmas lights in downtown Bentonville became the backdrop for their first moments together. Joshua did most of the talking, Fernanda did most of the listening, but in that exchange, something deeper took root. There was an ease between them, a sense that this was the beginning of something significant. From that night on, their journey unfolded in the most beautiful ways. Together, they embraced adventure-riding roller coasters, exploring the beaches of Florida, visiting family in Tennessee and Miami, traveling to Peru, and even cruising the Caribbean. But beyond the places they visited, it was the moments in between that shaped their love. Their greatest blessing came when they became parents to their son, Charles Goan. Watching each other step into the role of mother and father only deepened their love and admiration for one another. Joshua loves Fernanda for the way she loves so fiercely, with a passion that is unwavering and a loyalty that knows no bounds. He sees it in the way she cares for those around her, in the warmth of her beautiful brown eyes, and in the way she mothers their son with endless love and grace. She is his home, his greatest gift, and he cannot wait to spend the rest of his life by her side, always keeping Jesus at the center of their family. Fernanda loves Joshua for the way he motivates her to be a better person every day. His kindness, his unwavering love for his family, and the way he is the sweetest, most selfless person she knows make her fall in love with him over and over again. He is an incredible father, a devoted partner, and a man who loves God wholeheartedly-something she admires most about him. And so, on December 13th, 2024, Joshua brought Fernanda back to where it all started. Under those same glowing Christmas lights, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. Now, as they prepare to take this next step, they do so with full hearts, deep gratitude, and an unshakable faith. They look forward to celebrating with the people who have been part of their journey all along, knowing this is only the beginning of a lifetime of love, faith, and adventure.
