Despite a worldwide pandemic, we've decided to move forward with our wedding. We understand and respect that some may feel uncomfortable attending a gathering at this time. However, please note that we will be doing everything in our power to keep everyone feeling safe and comfortable as we celebrate. 

The wedding ceremony will begin at 2 p.m. on the lakefront at Songer's Log Cabin Resort, 3931 E Houghton Lake Dr, Houghton Lake, MI 48629. The reception will immediately follow across the street at the same address in a barn opened to the outdoors with a nearby bonfire pit. The average daily high for Houghton Lake on Oct. 3 is 63 degrees, so heavier fall attire is recommended. 

This is a casual fall wedding in Michigan with food, drink, a bonfire and music to follow at the reception.
