Lough Rynn Castle

There are a few lodging options available. We have blocked rooms at Lough Rynn should you wish to stay here. Under the wedding block the rooms rate is €155/ night, this is an upgraded room with breakfast included. They also have 3 bedroom self catering houses available that is about 3 mins walk from the main castle. The self catering house is €220/ night breakfast not included. Should you wish to proceed with this option simply call/email the castle to make the reservation and mention our names so you can be added to the room block There are also more hotel options at a town close by call Carrick on Shannon, roughly 30 mins drive away from Lough Rynn.

Flight

Coming by Air?

The closest airport to Lough Rynn is Dublin and is about a 2 hour drive away. We’ve learned that if you fly into Dublin during the weekend it’s cheaper than coming in during the weekday.

Rental Car

Hiring a car?

Lough Rynn is about 2 hours away from Dublin, we strongly recommend hiring a car. If you’re from the states everything with be on the opposite side :-) We recommend EuropCar (booked thru Expedia) as we had a good rental experience with them recently. Whatever you do GET the car insurance they offer otherwise there will be an incredibly high security deposit hold on your credit card!
