Renna, Set, Go!

We first met online through the dating app, Bumble. As we got to talking, we found connection after connection that gave us both immediate butterflies. We both love horror movies, rollercoasters, traveling, and musical theater. The icing on the cake was that we were playing romantic leads in the same show, but in different productions about an hour away from one another. We scheduled our first date on October 27th 2022 to Bates Motel, a haunted hayride and house attraction in a rural section of Pennsylvania. We were nervous at first but broke the ice early, finding an easy flow to our conversation that lasted through the whole night. We stayed in the car afterward, talking for a few more hours before Aimee drove her way back to New Jersey. We met again for a few more dates before Nick asked Aimee to be his girlfriend. In December we celebrated our first Christmas together and started participating in the Adventure Challenge, which is a series of books with scratch-off mystery dates. In March of 2023, we decided to move in together and start the next chapter of our lives. In the first year of our relationship, we traveled to eight states and went to five amusement parks. We performed alongside each other in five different productions and worked together on the production staff of two. In the second year of our relationship, we added 2 more shows and a trip to the Bahamas on Aimee's first ever cruise. We have also been sharing our favorite shows with one another including the Walking Dead Franchise, How I Met Your Mother, Bojack Horseman, Brooklyn 99, and Marvel. We have seen movies together, supported our friends in live theater together, and rehearsed lines together. Nick has shown never ending support in Aimee trying new recipes for dinner while Aimee helps Nick with voice lessons and supportive words. On New Year's Eve 2023, Nick and Aimee went to the fireworks at Penn's Landing. We had an early dinner reservation at La Famiglia Ristorante where we had some of the best food we had ever tasted. After a delicious meal, we walked over to Penn's Landing to get a good spot for the fireworks. When they started, Nick said he wanted to get a picture together and had Aimee to ask the older couple next to us to help us out. When they went to take the picture, Nick got on one knee and ask her to marry him. Aimee said yes to her favorite person in the whole world and we watched the rest of the fireworks in absolute bliss. We bought our first home together in August 2024 and now live in Penns Grove. Now we get to plan the wedding of our dreams with our closest friends and family by our side. We cannot wait to have you all with us as we celebrate our love and our future. <3
