Question

What should I wear to the Ceremony?

Answer

Formal attire is suggested for our ceremony. It will likely be quite warm at this time so please take that into consideration when choosing your attire. Please note that our venue is on the grass. We encourage you to wear whatever footwear you find agreeable, including sandals, booties, and wedges, and discourage stiletto heels. The ceremony will be taking place at a National Forest site. There will be a pavilion with seating to relax in the shade before the ceremony begins. Guests will be treated to a picnic style setup in a field to enjoy the ceremony. This will be followed by scenic photos in the park with friends and family.

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

All guests are encouraged to fly into Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport. This is the closest major airport to Sedona, Arizona (approx. 2 hours away). You may also fly into Flagstaff which is a smaller regional airport requiring a connecting flight, but is much closer to Sedona.

How can I get to the hotel if I am not renting a car?

Answer

If you are not planning on renting a car to get around during your time in Sedona, Groome Transportation offers a shuttle that will bring you to and from the Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport and Sky Rock Sedona Hotel. The rate is $63-$68 per person each way and should be booked in advance once you have purchased your flights by going to https://groometransportation.com/sedona/. The trip is approximately a 2 hour drive each way. The hotel has a complimentary shuttle around town for you to have the opportunity to explore if you do not have a car. We will be providing transportation to all of the wedding festivities on the 7th from the hotel.

We are staying additional days outside of the 6th and 7th, what should we plan to do?

Any days you are staying in Sedona outside of our scheduled dates are yours to enjoy as you please! Please check out our "Things to Do" page for some recommendations. There are so many special and unique things to do both in and around the Sedona area.
