Both the ceremony and reception will take place at Firehouse KC! Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outside. We do have a back up option for rain, but please bring a coat if it is cold. The reception will be indoors.
The ceremony starts at 5:30 p.m. sharp! Help us get the party started as scheduled! We recommend that you arrive 15-30 minutes before the start of the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated on time.
Guests can head inside for cocktail hour! Enjoy an open bar and light appetizers while the wedding party finishes taking photos.
It's a party! We ask that guests please wear cocktail attire. For men, this means suit or sports coat and tie. For women, this means a dress or formal pant suit.
While we love your kids, we ask that the kiddos stay home and allow yourself a night out for some fun!
Open bar! Enough said! Please don’t forget to tip your bartender and wedding entertainment!
Parking is free. There will be no parking at the venue itself, but you will be directed to park across the street behind a church with abundant parking spaces. There will be an attendant outside Firehouse KC directing traffic and signs helping to guide the way.
Dinner will be served at 7 p.m. following the cocktail hour. It will be served buffet style with several options to choose from, including vegetarian.
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list due to the capacity of the venue. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation.
We do not have a hotel block for guests for this event. There are a lot of great options in the area. The bride and groom will be staying at the Marriott Downtown Kansas Cirty. Check out the travel tab for recommendations. Other fun areas are Westport, the Crossroads or the Country Club Plaza.
Thank you in advance for submitting your RSVP before 8/1/2024. You can simply RSVP right here on our wedding website to give us an accurate attendance count.
While we appreciate your interest in purchasing a wedding gift, we are fortunate to have everything we could ever need. With that in mind, we’re asking you to consider a donation to the KC Sheltie Rescue (first item listed on the registry) in lieu of a gift. All donations will be made in memory of Truman, our beloved sheltie who recently passed away.
We know that all questions may not be answered on our site. Meghan and Rob are both able to answers questions you may have either by phone or text.
