We're so excited to celebrate with you!

They met in 2011 at the University Of Puerto Rico in Rio Piedras, when Jorge spotted Gabriela in the General Chemistry Lab. Little did she know that when he saw her, he whispered to his best friend that she was the one. Jorge spent most of his time at the lab trying to talk to Gabriela and little time on his experiments, which his lab partner was not so happy about. At the time, they tried to date, however, the timing was not right. They remained friendly and occasionally saw each other and had dinner. However, it was not until 2016, when their lives would again reunite. Thanks to Gabriela adding him on SnapChat, Jorge took the opportunity to after all that time, ask her out again. They have been inseparable since, being each others support system during medical school and to their luck, during residency, as they were able to match in the same city.

During one of their first year of residency vacations, they took a trip to Colorado. They were hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park when they suddenly stopped at a marvelous overlook and admired the beauty of the mountains. He asked her if she wanted to spend the rest of her life traveling with him, and the next thing she knew, he was down on one knee asking her to marry him. We are unsure if she said yes to him or to the ring, but the rest as they say, is history. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in San Juan!
