On Caroline's first day of work at her new job in New York City, Chris walked over and sat on her desk to tell her she was late for a meeting with him. The meeting went well. And that was that. Nearly three years later, they've had tons of adventures: Mozambique, South Africa, Mexico, La Jolla, Maine, Vermont, Fire Island, back surgery, a few Christmases, countless shared chicken parms and Indian food, perfecting a Manhattan, moving in together 6 weeks before a global pandemic and then weathering it all side-by-side. During a gorgeous sunset on Fire Island at the beginning of August 2021, Chris proposed and Caroline said yes! (And then cried a lot.) Since then, they've been planning an epic party in Montauk and can't wait to see you there!
