Question
Where is the ceremony being held?
Answer
Please view a map of the gardens here: https://jcra.ncsu.edu/rentals/venues/venue-map/index.php. The wedding ceremony will be hosted in the White Garden (across from the Great Lawn). This is about a 5-7 minute walk from the parking lot. The reception will be hosted at the Educational Center next to the parking lot.

Can we take photos and videos during the wedding?
Answer
We kindly ask that you please turn off your cameras and devices until after the ceremony ends. We want to see your lovely faces and happy smiles! Feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like after the ceremony ends :)

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
Plan to come early enough to walk through the gardens which are open until dusk. We ask that all guests are seated by 3:45pm for the ceremony at 4pm.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Yes, there is a parking lot at the Arboretum and adjacent parking on the street, both of which are free.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Yes, please reach out to CJ or Maddie so we can make arrangements.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Please wear what you're comfortable in! Note that we will be outdoors in a small garden for the ceremony and indoors for the reception. The pathways through the garden are a mixture of natural materials, pavers and grass. Please avoid jeans, flip flops, shorts and white dresses. If you'd like some ideas - Garden to semi-formal attire: Wear sundresses, floral prints and suits in lighter hues. Gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses.

Can I bring a date?

Due to limited capacity at the Arboretum, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on the invitation.

Will there be an open bar?
Answer
There will be an open bar serving soda, lemonade, beer and wine immediately following the ceremony and through dinner. Due to policies set by the Arboretum, alcohol is limited to 2 hours only.
