We very first met at one of my (Kayla's) bridesmaid, Katie's birthday party at the Meridian Pool. Fenix doesn't really member me being there though. We then were in a play later the same year at the high school we both attended, Meridian High School. We were cast as love interests in the play Matchmaker as Minnie Fay and Barnaby Tucker. For Fenix, it was love at first sight. We were friends for about six months after meeting before we reconnected while volunteering at a National Honor Society Event. From that moment forward, we have been inseparable. Fenix proposed on October 14 2022 at the Hyatt Hidden Lakes Reserve. We will have been dating for over 6 years when we get married. We have been to Disneyworld, the Grand Tetons and Yellowstone, California, Nebraska, Utah and Italy together. We have now lived together for three years and have the sweetest dog, Elle. I graduated with my degree from Boise State in May of 2023 and Fenix is finishing his last semester in Fall of 2024. We look forward to starting our married life together and enjoying summer in Boise with our honeymoon in September.
