The Felts' Party of 2!

Our journey began nearly five years ago when we put the faith of our future and finding a life partner into the Facebook Dating App! At the time, I was living in Topeka, while Blake was finishing his sophomore year at Missouri Western University in St. Joseph, Missouri. Being my usual forward self, I sent the first text and made sure to message Blake twice to ensure he didn't miss my message. My double text didn't scare him away and our first date took place at Blake’s apartment, where we planned to cook dinner—only for him to realize he had forgotten the ingredients. During our subsequent trip to the grocery store, I watched as Blake unhesitatingly helped an elderly woman reach an item on a high shelf. In that moment, I knew he was someone truly special. The following months were filled with countless texts and FaceTimes, eventually leading to us officially "defining the relationship" in July 2022. For the first year and a half, we navigated the challenges of living several hours apart, building a foundation of communication that has proven incredibly important for us. Since then, we have shared many milestones—from vacations and concerts to the transitions of moving in together and supporting one another through family losses. After Blake graduated in December 2023, his new career path led us to relocate to Omaha, Nebraska, where we have learned so much during this new chapter. In May 2025, Blake officially popped the question surrounded by our closest family and friends. What I thought was a simple Mother’s Day lunch in Kansas City turned into a surprise proposal at Union Station, where Blake got down on one knee (just 20 feet away from the World’s Largest Diaper Cake). We have grown up and grown closer a ton over the last four years and are truly honored to have each of you be a part of this special time in our lives. We look forward to celebrating with you and hosting the greatest party ever!
