Flight
Reagan-National Airport (DCA)
If flying, we recommend flying into DCA, which is the closest and most accessible of DC's airports. In DCA, follow signs for ground transportation to take a taxi (about 20-30 minutes) or the metro into DC (30-40 minutes).
Train
Union Station
DC is about a four hour train ride from NYC. We recommend booking a train ticket with Amtrak to DC (Union Station) at least a month in advance to avoid high prices. From Union Station, you can take a taxi or metro to your accommodation.
Travel Note
Cherry Blossom Season
Our wedding may fall during peak Cherry Blossom season, which will make DC an especially beautiful place to visit. However, it also means flights, train tickets, and hotels will sell out more quickly or be more expensive than usual. We recommend booking any transportation and accommodation early to avoid spikes in prices.
