Question

Where is the venue and is there parking available?

Answer

The venue is located at Legare Waring House (1500 Old Towne Rd, Charleston, SC 29407), which is a historic home located in the heart of the beautiful Charles Towne Landing State Historic Site. Parking will be available and free onsite for any guests who plan on driving. If you plan on calling an Uber or Lyft, please make sure your driver drops you off at 1500 Old Towne Rd after entering the state park.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

We ask that you arrange your own transportation to the venue, but we’ll be providing transportation back to downtown Charleston at the end of the night, so no need to worry about calling a ride after the last song! - 1 bus will leave at 10:15 pm, returning to the Charleston Marriott - 3 buses will leave at 11 pm, 1 returning to the Charleston Marriott, 2 returning to the Emeline Hotel Ubers and Lyfts should have no trouble dropping you off at the venue. However, rideshare availability may be limited when leaving the venue, so if you're not driving, consider arranging a ride in advance or joining us on the shuttle buses back to downtown Charleston.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

While weather is unpredictable, please plan for the weather to be quite warm. The ceremony is planned to be held in the beautiful (and shaded) Avenue of Oaks, and the reception will be hosted under a tent with fans. You will also have access to the Legare Waring House itself throughout the reception, which will have A/C and bathrooms.

Can I bring my child to the ceremony and reception?

Although we love your little ones, our celebration will be adults-only. We ask that you enjoy your child-free night with us!
