Answer
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift of all. However if you insist, we would greatly appreciate a small contribution toward our future goal of homeownership :)

What should I wear?
Answer
To the wedding: dressy Casual! and cute :) please no shorts, flip flops or jeans but we would like you to be comfortable!

What is there to do?
Answer
Boating: there are 3 canoes, 5 kayaks and various floats (as well as life vests) Hiking: There are several hiking trails on the property (4000 acres!) Trails go through old growth forests, grasslands and around the lakes. Fishing: Catch and release small mouth bass and blue gill. no fishing license required. Please bring fishing gear if you would like to fish! We will also have lawn games, ping pong, volleyball, and kickball, board games, card games.

What should I bring?

Please bring a 12 pack of your favorite craft beer to share for Friday night. If you would like to fish in the lake, please bring fishing gear/fishing pole. If you plan to swim in the lake, please bring a bathing suit. Please bring a reusable water bottle. Also, athletic wear and shoes for hiking, games and activities. Please bring a sweater for the evenings.

What's the food situation?
Answer
We plan to provide food and drinks for the entire weekend. That said, if you have specific dietary needs or preferences, you’re more than welcome to bring food/snacks/drinks you would specifically like. We will be asking each house/group to help assist in preparing/setting out a meal but food will be provided. We will provide alcoholic (primarily beer and wine) drinks for the weekend, but if you would like to bring something specific, you’re more than welcome!

What's the weather like?

During the day in July, average temperatures in Redwood Valley range from 80 degrees to 92 degrees. at night, the average lows at 50 degrees to 60 degrees. Please check weather prior.

Is there cellphone service?
Answer
No..... as soon as you exit the 101, there is no cell service but there are wifi and landlines present in each house.

What is provided in each house?
Answer
A kitchen with a coffee maker or French press. Bedrooms with all linens and blankets and bathrooms with towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. Sunscreen and bug spray that is friendly to the lake environment This property is powered with solar and mostly “off the grid” which limits our ability to use blow dryers and hair heating tools. Otherwise, the houses are stocked/ready to stay in.
