Yes! We encourage our guests to dress up with us. Tropical formal wear is requested. For women, this means wearing a floor length dress with tropical colors or themes. For men, this means wearing traditional formal attire not limited solely to black tie. Men can wear suits of any colors so long as they are not too bright. We ask that guests avoid wearing ivory, cream, white, or any light color that is close to white. This color palette is reserved for the bride. We also ask guests to avoid wearing red.
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate for additional guests. Those who are invited will receive a formal invitation or will be listed under their family who is formally invited.
We love your little ones as much as you do! However, we have decided to keep our wedding limited to adults only with the exception of the immediate family of the bride and groom. We encourage you to take this opportunity as a date night in the case that both you and your partner are listed on the formal invitation.
The bride and groom have chosen to celebrate their special day in a way that reflects their personal values and lifestyle. As they do not frequently consume alcohol, they have decided not to offer an open bar at the wedding. Their hope is that all guests can fully enjoy the celebration in a lively and joyful atmosphere without excessive drinking. We will however have a bar that will be making specialty cocktails with and without alcohol for those that like to have an occassional drink.
We ask that you kindly put your phones away and on silent for the duration of the ceremony. We have a great photographer that will capture the moment and share the images to all of our guests.
There will be a private shuttle provided for our guests and they will be making a stop to and from the following hotels: - Hotel Dann Carlton Barranquilla - Marriott Barranquilla If you are staying at one of these hotels, you simply wait at the lobby for the shuttle to pick you up at 4pm and from there, the shuttle will take you directly to our venue. If you are not staying at one of these hotels, you can either take your own transportation to the venue or your own transportation to one of the hotels listed above. From there you will be able to ride with the other guests whoa re staying in those hotels.
