We met in May 2004 at a mutual friend's party. In December 2004 we saw each other again for a high school event that he helped with and didn't talk again until June 2005 when he called to tell me he was going to Mexico for a few weeks and would call me when we got back (don't know why lol). When he got back we started hanging out; going to dinners with friends and his twin brother and bailes and to his tocadas (he was a drummer on the weekends).

After I went to pick up my school shedule, he picked me up and we went for a walk to Lake Chabot. We walked about a mile when we stopped near the shallow end of the lake, he kissed me and asked if I wanted to be his girlfriend, and of course I said yes! The smile he had for days was the cutest.

It's been many years down the road, but I it has been well worth it. We took our annual trip to S. Lake Tahoe and like every year, here I am trying to build my Olaf (snowman). I did not see it coming because I actually thought the guys were planning to attack us with a bunch of snow (because they do this all the time!) When Clari said "Look the guys are planning something" I just looked and kept on packing snow for my snowman. Nothing seemed unusual to me, until I saw Gera come up and come close to the girls. Then I thought, okay they really are about to attack us with snow. I heard when someone came up the hill and said "Lets take pictures s we can get going." I still went on building. Azalia asked me to take a picture with Felipe and all I said was "He is busy on his phone. We'll do it in a bit" and continued with my snowman (I was determined to build it lol). Ana asked for us to take a picture with our future Godson and I got up, but Felipe kept on his phone (now I think he was just nervous lol). When he finally came to take a picture, Oscar took the baby away from us and we took our couple picture. All I remember was hearing "1,2,3 Will You Marry Me?" and Felipe turned away from me and when I looked over he was down on one knee. I didn't even realize everyone was on their phones recording or taking pictures of us. I was shocked (of course, I cried and was shaking). No one heard, but yes I Said YES! (as I cried lol)
