Semi-formal ~ feel free to match our color palette, or wear something entirely different! Please note there is a 10 minute walk on grass to reach the ceremony site, so we recommend flats or stable shoes.

What weather should I plan for?

Answer

Late October in Leesburg, VA is prime mid-Atlantic autumn season. Temperatures range from the mid-40s to the upper-60s. Our ceremony will be held outdoors, cocktail hour will be split, and our reception will be held indoors. Rain is unlikely at this time of year, but in the off-chance of showers our venue has a plan B ceremony location fully indoors.

Unfortunately, pets are not allowed by our venue.

Are there any accessibility considerations to keep in mind?

Answer

The walk to our ceremony location features a medium-grade decline down a grassy hill, and an incline back up to return for cocktail hour. Our venue offers shuttling service to and from the site in a golf cart for anyone who needs assistance. The rest of our wedding will be held at ground level indoors and outdoors.

What are the transportation options to the venue?

Answer

We will have shuttle transportation for our guests between the hotels and our venue. We recommend that you book accommodations utilizing our room block discounted rates at the Hampton Inn or the Homewood Suites for direct shuttle pick-up and drop-off. Free parking is available on-site if you will be driving directly to the venue. While you may be able to book an Uber or Lyft to the venue for the start of the ceremony, ride-share services will not be available on the mountain by the end of the evening.

Can I take pictures?

We respectfully request that guests do not take photographs during the ceremony as professional pictures will be taken throughout the evening. We invite you to relax and enjoy the moment, and we'll gladly share these images with you after the celebration.
