In the spring and summer of 1991, Felicity and Alistair were born approximately 60 miles apart. Felicity then grew up on a dairy farm in Barefield, Co.Clare. Following in her fathers, aunt and uncles footsteps, attended the primary school down the road from the church within which the wedding ceremony will be held. Meanwhile, Alistair and his family relocated from Hampshire down to Devon and Cornwall, before settling in Tavistock on the northern edge of Dartmoor. In 2006, Felicity returned to the UK, spending two years in Bournemouth before moving down to Plymouth to study Geography at the university in 2008. Little did she know, she was now only 15 miles from Alistair's family home. In 2010, Alistair went to work in Australia before returning to the UK and starting at Plymouth College of Art in 2011. Following graduating in 2011, Felicity decided to stay in Plymouth and undertake a Masters Degree and for the rest of that year Felicity and Alistair would have spent their days in buildings on either side of North Hill, Plymouth. They have since found out that they would have often gone to the same bars and clubs on different student nights and are likely to have crossed-paths multiple times. In 2012, Alistair moved to Bristol to begin his degree in Architecture and Planning at the University of the West of England (UWE). In April 2013, Felicity accepted her first graduate job at 'Key Transport Consultants' and also moved to Bristol, now living approximately 4 miles from Alistair. By September 2013, Felicity's work offered her the opportunity to undertake a further course in Transport, and she then spent every second Thursday at UWE, attending lectures in the Architecture building. Finally, in August 2017, Felicity and Alistair had their first date in a bar on Whiteladies Road in Bristol. After attending Rich's (the Best Man's) 30th birthday party in November, Alistair asked Felicity out... and asked a further three times before he was sober and she said yes!
On a weekend away in the Lake District celebrating the day Ali officially asked Fliss out, whilst sat on the banks of Lake Windermere (and with a ferry playing Christmas music sailing by), Ali got down on one knee and asked the most important question of all....
