To get to Valencia you can arrive by plane to the airport : https://www.aena.es/es/valencia.html or you can arrive by train (AVE or AVLO) from Barcelona or Madrid. https://www.renfe.com/es/es

How do we get to Oliva?

Answer

To get to Oliva you should take the Cercanías train from Valencia to Gandía. There are trains every 30 -40 minutes. You can use your AVE ticket from Madrid to pay for the cercanías ticket to Gandía. From Gandía you take a 15-20 min taxi to Oliva. If you don't take the AVE train, you can purchase your cercanías ticket at the train station with a credit card or cash. It should cost less than 10€. OR You can rent a car from the city of Valencia to Oliva (1 hour drive 50 miles / 80 KM)

To take the cercanías train to Gandía from the AVE (Joaquín Sorolla Train Station) you need to walk 8 min to the other station.
