Matron of Honor
How can I begin to describe Kate? She and I have been best fiends since we were in grade school. We went through our horse girl phase together, and we both share the same goofy and ridiculous sense of humor (you gotta do what you gotta do!). Kate is someone who is incredibly kind and selfless and someone I can talk to about anything. I have fond memories of all of the sleepovers we had and all the times her mom had to knock on the wall to remind us to go to sleep. I can recall all of the times we would walk down to the corner store, buy snacks, and then walk through the carwash on our way back for no other reason than childhood whimsy. Kate loves all things spooky and I love celebrating the Halloween season with her because her enthusiasm and creativity helps make the holiday extra special. She is truly a treasure and I'm so honored to have her at my side. Thanks for all of the wonderful memories Kate, and here's to many more!
Bridesmaid
Jo has fast become one of my closest friends. She is witty, smart, and German. Jo and I initially bonded over our shared love of Lord of the Rings and cats. Whether it was spending time crafting and painting together, going on a walk, or just sitting together and sharing a cup of coffee or tea, Jo has always been a source of wisdom and of joy. She is truly beautiful inside and out and I'm so lucky she agreed to be a bridesmaid.
Bridesmaid
Hanna is incredibly beautiful, kind, and intelligent, and a wonderful friend. One of the things that I noticed almost immediately about Hanna early on in our friendship was her confidence and determination to strike her own path. I saw this in the discussions that we would have and in the way she lived her life. She sews her own clothes, raises chickens, tackles DIY projects, and just lives her life the way she sees fit without worrying about what anyone else thinks (Also, she makes really good soup!). Hanna is my favorite Renaissance Fair buddy and I really enjoy talking to her about books and TV shows because she always has well informed thought and nuanced opinions to offer. Plus, Hanna is my go-to person whenever I want to talk about Nancy Drew or Jane Austen. I have come to genuinely admire Hanna's strength and tenacity and I am so glad to have her by my side!
Bridesmaid
The best way to describe Patti is to liken her to pure sunshine. She is a person that radiates genuine warmth and joy to anyone she interacts with. I remember the surprise I felt the first time I met Patti when she greeted me as if we were old friends that had known each other a long time. That feeling of closeness only deepened as we got to know each other more over this past year and I'm beyond excited that she agreed to be a bridesmaid. Patti is also an incredibly talented performer both musically and theatrically and I've had the pleasure of seeing her perform twice; the first time was Matilda and the second time was Legally Blonde the Musical (she was Elle!). Even though Patti is a super star on stage she remains incredibly humble and down to earth. I'm so lucky to have her at my side!
Bridesmaid
Brooke is my favorite oldest cousin. She is intelligent, witty, beautiful, and driven. Brooke's sense of fun and humor is incredibly infectious and it's impossible to be around her for very long without succumbing to giggles and committing shenanigans. I love that she's a huge star wars fan because I need someone besides my siblings to geek out about this with. I'm super thrilled that she agreed to be a bridesmaid. I would like to end by taking this moment to offer this wonderfully deep and profound quote that sums up Brooke perfectly: "blah blah blah, blah blah blah" --Brooke, May 2023.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Nikki is spontaneous, infectious, and electric. She lights up the room with her energy and she adds a generous amount of serendipity to any occasion that she's a part of. Her creative spirit and her generosity make her a wonderfully unique person, and I'm so glad to have her at my side.
Jr. Bridesmaid
Anna is the my favorite sister. She is incredible, beautiful, and talented. She is a wonderfully talented ballerina, and an accomplished performer. She is super kind, silly, and my favorite person to go shopping with because she knows about fashion. I love hanging out with Anna and just unleashing all of the ridiculous and weird energy that can only exist between sisters. I'm honored to have Anna at my side. Love you sis!
Best Man
Nathan has occupied many rolls in my life: friend, brother-in-law, boss, and godfather to name a few. He has become someone in my life who I respect immeasurably as he is always willing to help in so many ways! Nathan has given me an excellent example of what being a light to everyone around you can truly look like! On top of all that, he makes a mean espresso martini. Thanks for being such an amazing friend and mentor in my life Nathan!
Groomsman
Gilliam is one of those people who is just always there for his friends. We've known each other since high school, but we became much better friends in college. One of my most memorable examples of Gilliam being such a dependable friend and absolute homie was when he picked me up from the ER on short notice! That was a crazy day! Gilliam I am truly grateful for your friendship and always having my back.
Groomsman
Jacob is like an actual real life Ferb (the cartoon character). He is almost never the most outspoken person in a conversation, but always has the most insightful things to add. Jacob and I met each other in high school but we got to know each other much better during college; he is someone who I've grown to respect as he has always been a responsible voice of reason. Thank you for all your help with school and life in general Jacob!
Groomsman
Trey and I were roommates for a couple of years during school, where we bonded over countless late-night Whataburger runs. He’s always been the guy to spark lively conversations, keeping things fun while also encouraging everyone to think deeper about themselves and their views. I appreciate how he’s always pushed me to grow and learn—thanks for keeping things interesting, Trey!
Groomsman
Jonathan is one of my closest friends who I made while I was in school, he and I roomed together and were part of the same capstone project during our senior year! He is always someone who I would end up having the most real conversations with, and he proved to be someone who I could always count on to give me honest advice. Thank you for helping me (and bearing with me) through the senioritis Jonathan!
Groomsman
Jared and I have been friends for longer than anyone else I've known outside my immediate family. No matter how long we go without talking or seeing each other, we are always able to just talk and catch up about our crazy lives. I miss the good old days of driving you around before you had a car in high school man! Thanks for being such an amazing friend amidst our crazy lives always getting crazier!

Sam became one of my closest friends in college, and we were housemates during my senior year. We’ve had countless late-night talks on just about everything, and I’ve grown a lot through those conversations and our friendship. Sam, I’m so grateful for your incredible insights!
