We met in 2023 on a blind date, both walking in with a mix of nervousness and curiosity. What we didn’t know was that the nerves would melt away almost instantly. From the moment we sat down, Wale’s charm, attentiveness, and gentle sense of humor made Felicia feel safe, seen, and completely at ease. He noticed the little things—her smile, her stories, the way she talked with her hands—and she quickly realized how rare and special he was. One date turned into another… and then another. With each conversation and shared moment, we discovered just how many things we had in common—and how naturally we fell in love with each other’s sweetness, kindness, and big hearts. As life shifted and new chapters unfolded, we supported each other through it all. Wale became a steady pillar for Felicia through the whirlwind of medical school, and he continues to cheer her on as she navigates residency. Along the way, we've found joy in the simplest, happiest parts of life together—going to brunch, post-brunch naps, exploring new places, trying out new activities together, and maintaining our goofy attitudes at all times. What started as a chance meeting quickly grew into the love of a lifetime, and we can’t wait to begin this next chapter together.
