What date should I RSVP by? And how do I RSVP?

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the Ceremony/Reception?

Answer

We want you to relax and safely enjoy our Big Day. That is why we have arranged complimentary transportation to and from the wedding ceremony and reception. Please review each shuttle bus timing for each event located on the schedules tab. *Buses will depart on time, please be there 5 minutes early!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

For your convenience, a block of rooms has been reserved at Caesars in Atlantic City and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Atlantic City Absecon. When calling to make your reservation, please mention you are booking under Zikria/Mahashabde wedding to receive our discounted rate. Please refer to the travel tab for more details on securing hotel bookings.

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?

Answer

Our goal is to keep our very special weekend as intimate as possible, so we are choosing to celebrate with only our closest family and friends. Therefore, we will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. Thank you for respecting our wishes.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to enjoy the evening celebrating with us.

Will there be a time gap between your wedding ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes, there will be a gap of few hours in between our ceremony & reception. We wanted our guests to relax a bit before the reception. This also allows our guests to change into their reception outfits as well.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Find all dress code related info for each event located on the schedules tab. We know there's always confusion about what to wear, so we tried to be very detailed. Also, dress to impress! For the Ceremony, please wear formal wear: (lehengas, anarkalis, saree's, cocktail dresses, kurtas, and suits). We kindly ask that you do not wear the following colors for the ceremony: Red/Green/White/Gold For the reception, it is black tie-optional (cocktail dresses, evening gowns, suits, tuxedos, and indo-western) We kindly ask that you do not wear white for the reception.
