Our story began in 1995, at a mutual friend's backyard party. Jon was there with his fraternity brothers, Shelley came with her high school friend and NYC roommate. Shelley's friend happened to be an elementary school classmate of Jon's, and we hit it off. We dated for a while but it wasn't meant to be...then. Fast forward to June 2020. Another mutual friend was having a 50th birthday party, until COVID screwed things up. It might be the only good thing to come out of COVID, since Jon was not on the guest list in 2020. The 50th birthday party became a 51st birthday party, and this time Jon made the cut...as did Shelley. We reconnected at the party...started talking about a week later...dating a couple of weeks after that...and more than 2-1/2 years later, here we are. Trips to New Hope, PA, Raleigh/Durham/Chapel Hill, NC , Newport, RI, Washington, DC, Nashville, Denver, San Francisco, Bermuda, Israel and most recently Portugal have dotted our time together and created memories...but the day-to-day living has cemented our relationship. We are so excited to share this next phase with you...and so grateful you can share it with us!
