Growing up, our mom's were best friends. As a result we share many fond childhood memories of play dates, Makeila Mumbay sleepovers, and birthday party celebrations. For a time we lost touch, then several years later (thanks to Chelsey's college graduation party) we reconnected. We started dating a few months after and quickly realized we were each other's "one." The following May, Caleb's park bench proposal was a delightful surprise! It was unique with a personalized view master containing memories we made while dating and Caleb telling a corresponding story with each picture. The last picture in the slide show was of Caleb kneeling before me with a ring box open and a hopeful grin on his face. I gasped, brought the view master down from my eyes, and saw him kneeling with the same hopeful expression. I pounced him with excitement all the while saying yes, before he was able to finish asking the question. Then, to my surprise, our families sprung from the bushes and came running down a path towards us shouting and waving excitedly. I doubled over with laughter as they pointed out our personal paparazzi (Scott) using a baby stroller and ball cap as camouflage. It was perfect! We decided to get married on August 10th, of 2018 because it marks the two year anniversary of the day we started dating. You could say we're cheesy romantics, but it seems to suit us. We feel so blessed that you all will join us to celebrate this special day! We're excited to see you soon!
