FAQs

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your kids—we really do. But we want our wedding to be your night off!

Question

Is there a shuttle available?

Answer

We're excited to have both the ceremony and reception on site so there's limited driving involved! There's plenty of parking with parking attendants. Please designate a driver - we promise they will still have fun! Otherwise, an Uber for 4 people is about $25 to the closest hotels.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you. We're looking forward to having an intimate wedding with our closest friends and family.

Question

What's the dress code?

Answer

Ladies, wear what makes you feel most beautiful! Wear your favorite cocktail dress or long dress. Men, we encourage you to enjoy the beautiful spring weather in your suit and favorite colorful tie!

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

We are registered through Zola, Target, and Wayfair. Please visit feinallyriordan.com and click the 'registry' tab

Question

What are your wedding colors?

Answer

Daffodil yellow and baby blue

Question

What does an un-plugged ceremony mean?

Answer

We have but one plea. Please keep our ceremony camera and cellphone free. Though our I Do’s are unplugged, our reception is not. Once our vows are exchanged, you’re free to take a shot!

Question

Is there cellular reception at the venue?

Answer

The venue is in a rural area and cell phone reception can be limited depending on the carrier. There is WiFi available.

Question

How many people are invited due to COVID?

Answer

We have had countless conversations about holding our wedding, but still ensuring the health and safety of our loved ones in attendance. We have made the difficult decision to reduce our guest list dramatically so our wedding can go on. This is not how we envisioned entering married life, but we are doing so with an even greater appreciation of life and love. We have communicated with all those who receive Save the Dates but are no longer able to stay on the guest list. We expect to invite approximately 60 people.

Question

What COVID precautions is the venue taking?

Answer

"There are signs posted on all entrances stating that if you have potentially been exposed to COVID-19, or are feeling feverish, ill, or are exhibiting any symptoms of COVID-19, do not enter the facility for the safety of all guests and staff. Signs will also remind guests to practice social distancing whenever possible. Tables will be 6' apart, six guests per table. Guests will need to wear masks inside, except while eating and drinking, and everyone will need to wear a mask while inside the house and ballroom. Wearing masks outside is not required if social distancing but would be if standing together in groups. The staff will have their temperatures taken at the beginning of each shift and will be required to wear masks. The facility will be fully cleaned after each event. During each event, the bathrooms, doorknobs and push handles will be sanitized every 30 minutes. We will have a hand-sanitizing station at the entrance and the caterer is providing hand-sanitizer at the bar."

Question

What travel restrictions should I know about before coming to Maryland?

Answer

People who travel to Maryland must either get a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours of arrival or self-quarantine for 10 days. This applies to people coming from all places except Delaware, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, DC. Please check the following for the most up to date information: https://www.cnn.com/travel/article/us-state-travel-restrictions-covid-19/index.html

Question

Where can I see the most recent COVID updates?

Answer

Please look under the 'COVID updates and wedding' tab.

Question

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors, weather permitting. The reception is indoors, in a 300-person capacity space. Our wedding guest list will have this space operating 25% capacity, with tables and chairs socially distanced.

Question

Do you have a hotel block?

Answer

No. We created a page with specially negotiated group rates under the 'travel' tab. This way, you can easily book your own rooms within your price range. We recommend Hilton Garden Inn Frederick and Hampton Inn Frederick. These two hotels are close to each other and are located 15-20 minutes from the venue. If you would prefer your own private house or space, we recommend looking at Airbnbs (be sure to read the COVID cleaning precautions for the listing!). There are many adorable options in Downtown Frederick! We are happy to help you pick one.
