Flight
The Powerscourt Hotel & Gardens are located within 35 minutes of the Dublin airport. Currently, Ubers and Lyfts are not available in Ireland; however, taxi cabs are roughly €45-75 euro one-way. We recommend the app "Free Now" a licensed ride-hailing app for black cabs and taxis in 9 European countries-so be sure to download before you go! If there are any updates with transportation to and from the airport, we will keep you notified.
Travel Note
If you wish to explore Ireland outside of our wedding dates, we recommend a rental car. However, be mindful that the Irish drive on the opposite side of the road! We rented a car during our last trip to Ireland and although it took a bit of time to adjust, it is a convenient option for exploring the island. Please note, if you choose to rent a car, and you're staying in Dublin, parking is sparse and you'll need to find an overnight paid parking lot. If you are staying outside of Dublin and you are renting a car, parking is plentiful and usually free everywhere you go or stay (including Powerscourt Hotel)!
