Welcome to the Weaver Wedding!

We met at a South Point football game during high school. We were introduced to one another by a mutual friend. James, being his goofy self, gave me a wink. I was too shy to wink back, but he was adamant so I gave in, blushing. Then off he went with his buddies. We reconnected later on until he asked me out during spring break. We went to prom together, he graduated from school, and joined the U. S. Marines. We stuck together and that was a wrap!

Many military couples decide to legally marry before they can have a big ceremony together with loved ones, and we agreed that would be best for us due to the process, as well as him being active duty. We legally married in South Carolina on the 21st of July! It was beautiful & intimate at Port Royal's observation tower, with the salty Lowcountry waterways around us. As we left, we received a wonderful blessing as a family of dolphins swam by. It was perfect! Beaufort is very special to us.
