We met way back in the 6th grade through mutual friends. We kept our distance for a while but eventually couldn't deny we both had major crushes. We went through middle and part of high school secretly crushing on each other without telling anyone...but we stayed best friends through everything. 10th grade rolls around and we decide to go to Olive Garden (one of our favorites) for a date. The date was a friend date and we didn't go anywhere from there until junior year of high school. I (Emma) asked Charlie to our junior prom as a joke but the joke was so real. That night was the night we both knew there was no pretending we were just friends anymore. That whole summer we were inseparable. July 21 2019 was our first official date. Fast forward to August 22, 2023, and Charlie pops the question...with a gorgeous ring by the way We cannot wait to see how our story continues to unfold and we are so grateful for endless love from family and friends!
