The two best airport options are Fargo (FAR) and Minneapolis–St. Paul (MSP).
• Fargo (FAR): About an hour drive from Detroit Lakes. Flights may be more expensive and may require a layover, but it’s the closest most convenient airport.
• Minneapolis–St. Paul (MSP): About a 3.5-hour drive with more flight options and direct routes.
