We met at a mutual friends New Years Day party in downtown Chicago. Catherine had heard so much about Chris for years from mutual friend and bridesmaid Lauren Pfleger. The offiical meeting of "the Chris Snow" was a big deal for Catherine, Chris had no idea. When Chris finally arrived, Catherine was immediately attracted to his Cleveland Browns shirt and overall Cleveland sports knowledge. The first meeting was follwed by several dates of getting to know each other, each one ending with the excitement of seeing each other again. We quickly realized that we shared so many common beliefs, values, goals in life and genuinely loved spending time together. We both can say that we surprised ourselves with how fast we fell in love. Soon after we met each others families, traveled to some of our favorites places, explored all of Chicago, and flew across the country to get our favorite puppy-Otis. But the best was yet to come....

Chris proposed on October 25th, 2018. It was a few days before Catherine's 30th birthday, and Chris had planned a surprise birthday evening for her to celebrate. He told Catherine to be ready at 4:30pm for dinner, a little suspicious. At 4:30pm Catherine and Chris met their "uber driver," Greg Snow, brother of Chris, outside of Chris's Old Town Apartment. They had a short drive to the lakefront, where Chris remained silent the entire time as he thought about the big question he was about to ask Catherine. Once they arrived at the lake front Chris took Catherine to "their spot" just south of North Avenue Beach. This spot was special because it's where Catherine would meet Chris after all of her marathon trainings runs and they would relax and take in the city views. Chris proopsed to Catherine once they reached their spot, and she said yes! They shared a special moment at the lake, took pictures and headed to dinner at their favorite restaurant in Chicago. Following dinner Chris surpised Catherine yet again with tickets to Hamilton, a true act of love for a guy who doesn't like musicals :) The evening ended over cocktails and talk of the future that they are so excited about!

We are so excited and feel so blessed to have found each other and want to thank you for supporting us along the way! We look forward to December 14th, 2019 to make the commitment of marriage to each other and to celebrate with all of you!
