We’re getting married!

We met on an online dating site, while Sasha was traveling in the UK. We were both honest about our flaws at first to see if we were okay with it, before really getting to know each other. Once that was all out in the open, then we started talking and planning when we would meet in person for a date.

Our story began October 2nd, 2019 when we went on our first date at Olive Garden. I still remember the down pour of rain we sat and watched as we talked for several hours. Once we left the restaurant I can still recall how my excited I was to have met someone so incredible as Sasha. It did not take us long to fall in love. I knew early on in our relationship that I would one day marry this girl. So I began saving my money for several months to purchase an engagement ring. I knew I could not hide the ring at our apartment, so I immediately took it to her mother's house and explained my intentions to her. She even agreed to help with keeping Sasha distracted while I set up some decorations in her backyard. So on August 2nd, 2021 they both went to the spa for a day of relaxation. Little did Sasha know I was waiting the backyard under an archway prepared to profess my love for her and ask for her hand in marriage. After what felt like eternity she finally arrived, and was immediately led outside where she could hear our song "Golden Restless Age" by Kings of Leon playing. To preserve this intimate moment I also recruited her sister to take pictures of the entire proposal. I got down on one knee and explained how our love is something so incredibly rare, and I couldn't imagine spending my life with anyone else. She was so happy I did not think she could have said "Yes" any faster.
