Question

What should we wear?

Answer

Attire is formal! Whatever you normally wear for a wedding ;) The ceremony will be outside in mid-April, then the reception is indoors (with a patio if you need to step outside).

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we adore your children, our venue (and our budget) doesn't have room for all the little ones. Please make it a date night <3 However, we can accommodate very little ones (<12 months old) that cannot separate from mom for extended periods of time. We don't want babysitter constraints to be the reason you cannot attend our big day, so we DO have babysitting opportunities available at our designated hotel should that be a need for the night of! Please let Heidi or Blake know ASAP if you need a babysitter (trusted and backed by us).

March 1st, 2026! <3 Please please please make sure to RSVP so we can save you a seat at the table ;)

Can I bring a date?

We are so excited to celebrate with you! Due to space and budget constraints, we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. We appreciate your understanding!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Plenty of parking at the ceremony/reception venue. It is on a (very) short stretch of gravel.

Question

Where is the ceremony and where is the reception? Indoor or outdoor venue?

Answer

Both the ceremony and the reception will be at Lilac Hill in Louisville, NE. The (short) ceremony will be outdoors, then there will be an indoor cocktail hour for guests (with drinks and snacks) while we take some photos, then the dinner and dancing reception will be continued indoors. There is also an outdoor space for photo ops and yard games!

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We have a shuttle planned to leave the Embassy (connected to the Courtyard) at 3:50pm to arrive at the venue for our 4:30pm ceremony. We have 2 shuttle rides planned to get guests back to the hotel, around 9:30pm and at the end of the night. Also, let us know if you need a ride to/from the airport and we'll do our best to help with that!

What if I have a dietary need?

Answer

Please let us know ASAP if you have any specific dietary needs, including vegetarian, gluten-free, vegan, or food allergies! Our caterer will ensure you get a delicious dinner.
