The best way to reach Benevento by public transport is by train (the central station is served by high-speed trains). If you’re planning to fly, the nearest airports are Naples and Rome, but be sure to check available bus or train connections!
The church is located in the city center, inside a traffic-restricted zone, so it is not possible to reach it directly by car. The closest parking area is in Piazza del Risorgimento, about a 5-minute walk away (parking fees apply). The venue has its own private (and free) parking lot, with plenty of space for everyone. We are also planning a round-trip transfer service from the church to the venue; if you are interested, please let us know in the RSVP!
Benevento is a fairly large city with plenty of accommodation options. We are also in contact with several places close to the church, so if you are interested please let us know in the RSVP!
Benevento and its surroundings offer many beautiful places to explore. Here are some suggestions: In Benevento: Arch of Trajan: one of the best-preserved Roman arches in the world. Santa Sofia Church: a UNESCO World Heritage site, where we are getting married! Roman Theatre: an archaeological site right in the city. Corso Garibaldi: perfect for a stroll, a coffee, or some shopping. Hortus Conclusus: an artistic garden. Nearby (30–60 minutes by car): Sant’Agata de’ Goti: a medieval village perched on a cliff. Guardia Sanframondi: a charming hill town with a castle and scenic views. Telese Terme: known for its spas and thermal baths. Paduli & Pietrelcina: peaceful countryside towns, great for a relaxed visit. Molinara: famous for its fun life night. However, Benevento is located in the heart of Southern Italy, in a strategic position from which you can reach the seaside of Campania, Abruzzo, or Puglia in just a two-hour drive: perfect for a summer swim
We know picking the perfect outfit can be stressful, so don’t worry, there’s no strict dress code! If you’re unsure about colors or style, just ask the bride!
