Though Santa Barbara does have its own airport [SBA], most airlines do not offer nonstop flights there. If you don't mind layovers, we say go for it! Otherwise, we recommend flying into LAX and then driving up to Santa Barbara - it's only a 90-minute drive with no traffic; just avoid rush hour!
