Wedding Party

Julianne Jacob

Matron of Honor

I met Feba back at Seton Hall through a mutual friend, and somehow, somewhere along the way, we became inseparable. I honestly can’t remember when or how we became as close as we did, but I’m endlessly grateful that we did. She’s been one of the biggest blessings in my life. From planning SASA events to late night study sessions filled with singing, dancing, takeout Thai food, and ridiculous acronyms, we’ve shared so many laughs (and plenty of tears, too). What I cherish most, though, are our sleepovers—whether in person or over FaceTime—where we stay up all night talking about life. Feba is fiercely loyal, deeply loving, and always goes out of her way for the people she cares about. She has stood by my side through it all, and I hope she always remembers her worth and the incredible gifts she carries. I’m so excited for this next chapter with Steven and can’t wait to see all that God has in store for them!

Shawn P. Mathew

Best Man

I’m Steven’s big brother - older, taller, and obviously wiser (and that’s just the beginning). I’ve known him for 30 years, and one of the greatest blessings of my life has been growing up alongside him. Having Steven by my side from our early school days all the way through college was one of the best things that could have happened to us. Our bond and love go beyond what words can express. He’s more than a brother by blood - he’s my best friend. I’m so excited for what the future holds with this beautiful union between him and Feba, and I’m truly honored to stand by his side as his best man.

Nicole Pouy

Bridesmaid

I met Feba 17 years ago in a freshman year journalism class (although neither of us had the talent or real interest). On the first day of class, the teacher instructed everyone to divide into pairs, and after my  own sister abandoned me for another partner, I reluctantly turned to the bubbly girl who’d just tapped me on the shoulder. We’ve been best friends ever since. Like an old Italian couple, our favorite activities are yelling at each other and eating pasta together.

Sameer Walter

Best Man

For those of you that may not know me, I’m Steven’s lesser known brother. I’ve known Steven for about 20 years now, and in that time our friendship quickly grew into the brotherhood that you all see now. In those 20 years, Steven and I have done nearly everything together — from traveling all over the country, to simply sitting in his living room eating pizza and playing video games, it’s hard to think of a time in my life where Steven hasn’t played an integral part in it. Just as Steven stood by my side at my own wedding, I couldn’t be more excited, and honored to do the same for him at his.

Zana Hanini

Bridesmaid

Feba and I met in ninth grade. I think it was either gym or history. I say “either” because I honestly don’t remember, and looking back now, it doesn’t really matter where it was. It felt like we’d always known each other and that we were always meant to be best friends. Seventeen years later, she’s still one of my best friends and one of my favorite people. There are too many memories and too many moments to share, but one of my top recent memories would be our trip to Hunter Mountain in NY, where we stayed in a place that we guarantee was haunted. Thankfully, we lived, and she found her forever person to share new adventures with.

Philip (Kenaz) Thomas

Groomsman

Hey everyone! My name is Kenaz, and I’ve had the joy of knowing Steven through our church community. Over the years, we’ve shared a ton of great memories—from long drives to conferences, cruises, and even a trip to LA, to playing basketball in his pool, and spending nearly every Sunday at his house after church like it was a weekly tradition. It’s been a gift to watch Steven grow into the man he is today, and I’m honored to celebrate him and Feba as they step into this next chapter together.

Linda Samuel

Bridesmaid

I’m Linda, Feba’s favorite cousin….this is not at all self proclaimed, I swear. We are about 13 months apart, and shockingly I am the older one. My childhood is full of the best memories with our bride to be. I can’t promise you she’ll recall all our memories together as the best, as I may or may not have tortured her on occasion playing the “cool, older sister cousin” role. BUT I will say Feba never gave me the reality check I probably needed back then, and was the best cousin and my best friend. My favorite memories are our countless conversations (specifically during our sleepovers) where I would fall asleep after HOURS of conversation. I am honored to be apart of her bridal party. She is the most beautiful soul I know, and I can’t wait to stand by her side while she marries the love of her life.

Joel Abraham

Groomsman

Hey everyone! My name is Joel and I am the coolest of Steven’s groomsmen. Steven had the pleasure of growing up alongside me in our tight-knit church community since we were in middle school. We also went to college at the same school (a few years apart from each other) where our friendship truly began to blossom. It’s been great to see Steven grow into the man he is today and excited to get to celebrate him and Feba!

Sarah-Grace Outlaw

Bridesmaid

Feba and I met in 2023 after attending the same church for 4 years! After introducing ourselves, we instantly became friends. My favorite memory of Feba is the first time we hung out. We grabbed a yummy brunch and went on a long walk through a beautiful neighborhood. During this walk, I quickly realized that Feba would become a dear friend. She was extremely easy to talk to, and I found myself comfortable enough to be vulnerable with her — a rare feeling to experience with a complete stranger. We have been sharing meals and chatting away ever since! Proverbs 13:12 reads: “Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is a tree of life”. My heart is overjoyed see this dream fulfilled in Feba and Steven’s lives. I’m honored to witness their marriage and to stand beside them and before God on their special day.

Alvin Reji

Groomsman

For those of you that may not know me, I’m Alvin, aka Steven’s favorite cousin. Usually in many families, you don’t really see your cousins that often. For the past 23 years, I’ve been able to see Steven almost every single week, getting to serve alongside him in our church, and the different hangouts we may have. Our Flushing crawls will always be one of my favorite things to do with Steven. Excited to see how God continues to use Steven as he starts this next journey with Feba!

Sheba Vettom

Bridesmaid

It was divine intervention when Feba & I met. Society may call us cousins, but she's more like my baby sister. I've watched her grow up to be an intelligent, sweet, thoughtful & beautiful woman who enjoys love tapping cars. I'm so honored to stand next to my sister on her wedding day as she marries the love of her life!

Abel Aniyankunju

Groomsman

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Steven for over 15 years. We met in middle school but didn't become friends until the 9th grade. Unfortunately, I had to transfer to another high school after that year, but Steven and I reconnected at St. John’s University, where we were both in the pharmacy program. Over our six years together in college, Steven became one of my closest friends—more like a brother. We shared countless memories, laughs, and adventures over that span. I watched Steven grow in many areas: his skills on the basketball court improved drastically, his academic performance strengthened, and his abilities in the gym were almost on par with mine. I’ve never had to question Steven's loyalty because, like myself, he is a Knicks fan. Some of my favorite memories with Steven include pulling countless all-nighters, trying all kinds of different foods, and playing basketball together. Watching Steven transform into the man he is today has been nothing short of special. I’m honored to stand by him on his big day and look forward to celebrating this new chapter in his life.

Erika Schreiber-Samji

Bridesmaid

I first met Feba at an Italian restaurant in Kearney—La Fiamma—and from the moment we sat down, we clicked instantly. We bonded over our shared love for '90s sitcoms and hilarious stories about her brother—who, little did I know then, would become my husband. Since that day, she’s been more than a sister-in-law—she’s become a true sister and one of my favorite people to shop, cook, and go on spontaneous adventures with. Whether we’re navigating a chaotic Black Friday parking lot, charming strangers into sharing their eclipse glasses at peak totality, or just ordering Spice Grill and binge-watching '90s classics, it’s always a guaranteed good time with her. I wish her and Steven a lifetime of laughter, love, and happiness beyond their wildest dreams—because even those dreams aren’t big enough for the joy they deserve.

Christin Mathew

Groomsman

One of my favorite memories with Steven was when we reconnected at St. John’s University in our first-year statistics class. Steven and I had been classmates back in first grade at Dutch Broadway Elementary School, but ever since I left Elmont, he had completely forgotten about me (insert sad face). When he came in late to class that day, I couldn’t help but notice that he brought a scrumptious Pop-Tart with him. I, having probably skipped breakfast to make it to class on time, turned around and asked, “Yo, can I have some?” Steven, not yet realizing who I was, made the cordial gesture of offering me one of his two Pop-Tarts. We might not have known it back then, but that was the beginning of a beautiful, lifelong friendship.

Nikki Mathew

Bridesmaid

I am deeply honored and excited to be standing by Feba's side as she marries my awesome brother-in-law, Steven. I first met Feba on a legendary double-date pizza crawl through the city with our perfect 10 Mathew men. Getting to see Steven and Feba's love story unfold has been such a joy, and I am excited to make even more memories with them. I couldn't be happier to be part of their big day as they finally say "I dough."

Ajin Sam

Groomsman

Steven and I have know each other for well over a decade. Our friendship began in pharmacy school, survived all-nighters at the St. John’s library, and somehow, even after seeing each other at our sleep-deprived lows, our brotherhood continues strong today. Steven stood by me as my groomsman in 2021 and I am beyond honored to do the same for him come September.

Ashley Reji

Bridesmaid

The first time I met Feba, we were shuffleboard teammates during a night out in the city. We bonded over our enthusiasm - and our equally questionable skills - but what really stood out was how happy she made Steven. Steven and I grew up super close— we are practically siblings. Over the years, I always joked that if I ever got married, he’d be my “man of honor,” so naturally, he owed me a spot as his “groomswoman.” Little did I know, I’d actually get the chance to witness his and Feba’s love story unfold - not from his side of the aisle, but as a bridesmaid for the incredible woman he’s marrying. And honestly? I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’m gaining an older sister in Feba, and I’m so excited for all the adventures ahead - as I happily force myself into their life (can we say cousins slumber party???). It’s been an amazing honor to get to know her and be part of this journey. I can’t wait to celebrate both of them on their big day!

Collin Samji

Groomsman

From the moment I met Steven, it felt like I’d known him forever. One of my favorite memories is hanging out at a Thai restaurant with him, Feba, and two of our closest friends—it was one of those nights filled with great food, easy conversation, and lots of laughs. Steven fits into our family so naturally, and I truly can't imagine a better match for my sister.
