South Yuba River Statepark Bridgeport
CLEAN UP ALL TRASH!! Even other peoples. Please protect her majesty, the Yuba. This is one of the most magical places. State park with a historical covered bridge. Easy hike to the swimming on the right side of the bridge when driving in. Emerald blue huge swimming holes, beach, rapids to float down, and underwater caves. If you’re going on the weekend, go earlier to get a spot. One of Fayth’s favorites. PLEASE BE CAREFUL, while the Yuba is amazing to swim in and the most glorious place in the world, she takes the lives of people who are careless. The first swimming hole is huge, extremely safe for children and easy to walk to.

Surreal swimming holes, crystal clear water, moderate hiking trails. PLEASE BE CAREFUL, while the Yuba is amazing to swim in and the most glorious place in the world, she takes the lives of people who are careless.
Downtown Grass Valley
Great area to walk around. Amazing food, Fayth’s hometown. Historical, BEAUTIFUL movie theater, street murals, delicious pizza at Pete’s Pizza is highly recommended. Tofanelli’s is great for brunch and dinner.
Downtown Nevada City
An exuberant Victorian era city amid rivers & forest. Voted by U.S. travel media as “Most Beautiful” and “Best River Town.” Fayth worked at Calla Lily crêpes for around 5 year and they have delicious savory and sweet Crêpes. Azora sushi is delicious as well! Highly recommend!
Empire Mine State Park
Empire Mine State Historic Park is the site of one of the oldest, deepest, and richest gold mines in California.
Auburn Alehouse
Amazing brewery in downtown Auburn. Delicious food, Cocktailsand beer. Upscale pub. Occasionally live music.
South Lake Tahoe
Lake Tahoe is deep enough to cover the Empire State Building and could cover the entire state of California in water. You can drive through California and Nevada as the lake crosses both states. A beautiful must see with lots of scenic outlooks. You can hike around the lake as well! Popular areas California side: King’s Beach Olympic Valley Tahoe City Dollar Point State line Nevada Side: Incline Village (Fayth’s favorite) Zephyr Cove State line
