The first swimming hole is huge, extremely safe for children and easy to walk to.

Great area to walk around. Amazing food, Fayth’s hometown. Historical, BEAUTIFUL movie theater, street murals, delicious pizza at Pete’s Pizza is highly recommended. Tofanelli’s is great for brunch and dinner.
An exuberant Victorian era city amid rivers & forest. Voted by U.S. travel media as “Most Beautiful” and “Best River Town.” Fayth worked at Calla Lily crêpes for around 5 year and they have delicious savory and sweet Crêpes. Azora sushi is delicious as well! Highly recommend!
Empire Mine State Historic Park is the site of one of the oldest, deepest, and richest gold mines in California.
Lake Tahoe is deep enough to cover the Empire State Building and could cover the entire state of California in water. You can drive through California and Nevada as the lake crosses both states. A beautiful must see with lots of scenic outlooks. You can hike around the lake as well! Popular areas California side: King’s Beach Olympic Valley Tahoe City Dollar Point State line Nevada Side: Incline Village (Fayth’s favorite) Zephyr Cove State line
