It was about noon on the campus of Belmont Abbey College ... Nikki had just finished two classes and a Biology Lab and was getting some lunch before softball practice... Mike was just waking up and missed his only class of the day... As Nikki sat down to have lunch with her friend; Mike came walking into the cafeteria. She was eating a well balanced lunch because she's an elite college athlete ... Mike grabbed strawberry yogurt + gatorade + water because he was hungover... He noticed his roommate Graham sitting with the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen ... Nikki. Realizing he was an absolute mess and would undoubtedly embarrass himself, Mike sat with his usual cast of criminals. Later in the day, Mike saw Graham back at the apartment, and asked who he was eating with. Graham told him it was a girl named Nikki Faust; Mike then pleaded with Graham to invite her to the apartment that weekend for one of their regular Saturday Night Soiree's. Graham refused and Mike knew he had to make his own luck. The next week, Mike played the odds that Nikki + Graham would be having lunch together again ... He woke up early, showered, and went to class ... Mike walked into the cafeteria and BOOM there they were ... this time Mike took his shot. He walked over to the table and introduced himself to Nikki, she cracked a joke trying to shake Mike's confidence, but he was locked in and invited her to come to a party at the apartment anyway. Nikki would go to a couple of the Soiree's that Mike + Co. threw before the two started to ditch the group in favor of dates with just the two of them... The First Date debate still rages whether it was Harpers or Cookout; while they may not agree on the first date they're always looking forward to the next one.
